Grand County businesses are invited to take part in Jon Schallert’s Destination Business BootCamp Community Reinvention Program sponsored by the Grand County Office of Economic Development. Businesses will receive a powerful 2-1/2 day training experience that will increase sales and customer traffic to elevate their business by learning specific steps to become a Destination Business where consumers say “I have to go to that place!”

DEADLINE TO APPLY:  September 15, 2016
DATE:  Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, October 25 –27, 2016
LOCATION:  The Schallert Group’s historic building located in downtown Longmont

DETAILS:

  • Available to any Grand County business with fewer than 50 employees and less than $1 million in annual gross revenues
  • 18 Businesses will be selected to attend, these businesses pay only travel, lodging and meals
  • $1,500 per person grant will be paid by the Grand County Office of Economic Development

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 2-1/2 days of training conducted by Destination Marketing Expert, Jon Schallert
  • All training materials, breakfast & lunch while in Longmont. Dinners will be on your own
  • Four (4) months of group conference phone calls with Jon Schallert after BootCamp is completed
  • 45-minute consultation with Jon Schallert at your place of business within 2 months after BootCamp

HOW TO APPLY:

  • Write a brief letter of interest including the following:
    • How/why the program would benefit your business
    • Why you are excited to join
    • How long you have been in business
    • Website address
    • Statement of commitment to attend the 2 1/2 day training and 4 months of follow up
    • Statement that your business meets the qualifications
